What Is a Giclee Print?

Giclee fine art print refers to a digital reproduction using state of the art inkjet technology. The name comes from the French word Giclee(pronounced Zhee-Clay) that means fine spray". Not any digital print is a Giclee however, only digital prints that are created on special high resolution printers utilizing specially formulated inks and media under strict printing standards. The media is carried by a spinning roller while infinitely small pixels of rich, vibrant inks are sprayed on it at a very high speed. This renders an amazingly smooth and consistent image true to the original painting or photograph, a superb quality fine art reproduction. 

How long will it take for my canvas to arrive ?
The art work will be securely packaged and dispatched in 3 to 5 working days after payment has cleared. If you would like to receive your order urgently, you can choose express service. We will send your order within 24 hours and you will receive it next day (ORDER MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 4PM. WE DO NOT POST ANY ITEMS ON WEEKEND).
If you are not in, a courier will leave a card. If you receive a card please contact the courier to arrange an alternative time. Deliveries can arrive at anytime between 9am - 5.30pm, so if you are not in during the day it may be easier to arrange the delivery to be made to your work address.

Do I have to create a an account ?
Yes please this ensures if you ever wish to re-order with us all you have to do is log into your account and save time entering all the details again. Please note we do not store any payment details. Your details will never be passed to any third party.
What if I want a size that is not a 'standard size'? can I choose my own size?"
Yes, simply email us your requests and will create a custom size for you.

Can I provide you with an image to print?
Yes of course. Please visit the photo on canvas page where you can easily upload your digital image to us.

What if my image is not a digital file ?
Please scan your image at minimum 300 dpi, and save it in JPEG / tiff format.

Please note, we cannot accept images that are less than 512k (1/2 MB) or are under as the quality will not be sufficient to achieve a good enlarged image on canvas.

Is my canvas designed to be hung outdoors ?
Your canvas is a delicate piece of art and should not be hung outdoors.

Can I collect the artwork from your studios myself?
Yes you can. Please let us know before coming for collections.

Will the colours I see on screen be the same as the finished canvas ?
We cannot guarantee the colours will be identical. as individual monitor settings can vary.

Will my canvas be the same the image I see online?
Images may vary slightly, depending on the size you have ordered due to scale and proportion.

How do I care for my canvas?
To maintain & increase the life span of your canvas do not expose continuous, strong sunlight or moisture. Do not clean your artwork with a wet/damp cloth, use instead a soft sponge or duster lightly on the surface.

How does the shopping cart work?
Similar to a shopping trolley at a supermarket, you can put things in your cart (by clicking on the 'add to cart button') without having to buy them. Think of it as a way of remembering things that you are interested in. You are not committed to buy until you take your selected canvases through to the checkout. However, you cannot purchase an item until it has been added to your cart, so remember to check the contents of your cart carefully before you check out. You can check the contents of your cart at any time by clicking on the "view cart" button at the top right of any page. If you want to remove something, simply select the check box next to each item & then the "update basket" button.
When you have finished shopping click on the 'view cart, then click on proceed to checkout . You will be then re-directed to Secure credit and debit card payments NOCHEX page & asked for your bank card details.

Is the website secure?
All your payment details are processed by NOCHEX on a secure server (all the information that are passed from your browser to the server is encrypted). A small padlock icon will appear in the status bar of the browser at the bottom of your screen when you are entering your card details, signifying you are currently on a secure platform. Another sign that you are on a secure site is that in the address bar of the browser you will notice that the beginning of the website address will be 'https://' It is also worth noting that we will never actually see / receive any of your card details - they are all processed externally via NOCHEX

Which payment/switch/credit cards do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and Delta. Personal cheques are also accepted.

What happens if I wish to place an order but would rather not use my credit card online?
Although our credit card processing is totally secure, we will accept a personal cheque, although we have to wait 3-4 days for the cheque to be cleared before proceeding with your order. You can make your payment by phone as well. Please call us if you wish to place an order: 020 85465023

Can I place an order and arrange for it to be sent to another address?
Yes - when entering your personal details you will be given an opportunity to specify whether you wish to use your own address or supply a different delivery address.

Do you ship your atwork outside UK?
Yes - we deliver our artwork worldwide. International customers should contact us for postage cost before placing order.

By sending us your image, you are automatically acknowledging that you are the copyright owner of the image, or have obtained permission from the copyright owner in written form, which permits us to print it in accordance with your order.
